Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 2, 2026

Draft — not legal advice. Nexum Entertainment Network is not yet an incorporated entity, and this document has not been reviewed by counsel. It describes how this portal handles data today and will be replaced by a reviewed policy before the site is opened beyond authorized users.

1. Who this covers

This policy applies to nexumentertainmentnetwork.com — an access-restricted portal for people affiliated with Nexum (staff, investors, finance, and development collaborators). It is not a consumer product, and it is not currently open to the public.

2. Information we collect

  • Account details — your name and email address, provided when you register or sign in with Google.
  • Credentials — if you use email and password, your password is stored only as a salted hash (bcrypt); we never store it in readable form. If you sign in with Google, we never see your Google password.
  • Authentication data — an OAuth token from Google (when used) and a session token used to keep you signed in.
  • Authorization — the role or group memberships that determine which areas of the portal you can reach.
  • Technical data — IP address and standard request metadata, processed by our network provider for security and delivery.
  • Content you submit — anything you upload or enter in the areas you have access to.

3. How we use it

  • Authenticate you and enforce role-based access to portal areas.
  • Operate, maintain, secure, and troubleshoot the portal.
  • Send you account-related email (verification, password reset, access notices).
  • Meet legal, accounting, and recordkeeping obligations.

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell it.

4. Cookies

The portal sets a single session cookie to keep you signed in. It does not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics trackers.

5. Service providers

We rely on a small number of processors, each limited to its function:

  • Google — sign-in, when you choose Google authentication.
  • Cloudflare — network delivery, TLS, and security filtering for traffic to and from the portal.
  • A transactional email provider (planned) — to deliver account-related email.

The portal and its database run on infrastructure operated directly by Nexum. We disclose personal information otherwise only where required by law or to protect our rights, users, or systems.

6. Retention

We keep account information for as long as your account is active and as needed afterward for legal, accounting, or security purposes. You may ask us to delete your account and associated personal data.

7. Your choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing us at the address below. Because access is granted by invitation, deleting your account also ends your access to the portal.

8. Security

Traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Passwords are hashed, access is gated by role, and the portal sits behind network-level access controls. No system is perfectly secure; use a strong, unique password and keep your credentials private.

9. Children

The portal is for adults affiliated with Nexum. It is not directed to children.

10. Changes

We will update the date at the top of this page when this policy changes and will give notice of material changes to portal users.
